Absences by reason
This screen totals the number of days of absence by reason tracked. It is intended for use by the HR department.
Using the screen
Access: HR → Absences by reason It is only accessible to users with HR privileges.
The screen displays the total number of days of absence, calculated by reason, for each non-archived user.
The button List button opens the list of absences for the selected user.
The screen’s context menu allows you to view archived users and to display calculations for the period from 1 June to 30 May.

Currently, this screen does not take overlapping periods into account. For example, if you have requested a calculation for the calendar year, and leave is declared for the period 25 December 2023 to 5 January 2024, this period will not be included in the calculation. For such periods, record two periods of leave.
