Product families and sub-families

Products registered in Gestan must be classified into product families.

It is possible to have a second level of classification, the sub-family. They are useful if you manage a large number of products, or if you need more detailed statistical analysis.

The type can be used to classify services sold or purchased, for statistical or accounting purposes.

You can assign a color to the family, which will be displayed in the product list.

Default values can be specified for use in product creation.

**Access : ** Products→Product families (after enabling sub-family management in Gestan's general settings).

In the same way as for families, it is possible to assign a color to subfamilies.
