The QR-bill replaces the old pink payment slips in Switzerland. It's the Swiss equivalent of Factur-X, minus the totalitarian side.
Gestan can natively edit invoices in this format.
You should obtain a QR-IBAN, see https://qr-facture.com/obtenir-qr-iban/. But Gestan also knows how to print a QR-Invoice with a normal IBAN.
A QR-IBAN number can easily be recognized because the 3rd digit is always a 3.
For example:
To activate the printing of QR-Invoices, check the QR-Swiss Code box in the general settings of Gestan, tab Options per type, for invoices.
If the creditor's IBAN is a QR-IBAN, this IBAN must contain 27 digits, including a 2-character check key.
If the creditor's IBAN is a “normal” IBAN, it must comply with the SCOR format: 25 characters starting with RF, 2 control digits, and the rest of the digits (for example, for 2180808007520591019 → RF742180808007520591019)
