It is possible, for precise monitoring, to divide an action into stages, in accordance with a standard process. For example, for the annual maintenance of a lawn:
- three mowings during the summer,
- scarification in autumn.
These standard stages are defined by a load (number of man-days necessary for the operation), and a shift (number of man-days separating stage 1 from stage 2, then stage 2 from stage 3 etc.)
When a lawn needs to be maintained, it will be enough to create an action. The start date of the action will allow the planned steps to be positioned on the correct date.
Activation
Activation of this functionality is done via the general settings screen.
With the “Manage processes” box checked, this will activate the menu below in the “Action” menu:
The Typical process menu
It opens the typical process management screen. These standard processes make it possible to memorize the succession of typical steps for carrying out an action.
Creation of an action-process
When creating an action, right-clicking on the action label generates the steps of the action to be carried out, depending on the selected process type.
Process action monitoring screens
These screens allow you to manage process actions.
Display in the ToDoList widget
The ToDoList widget, for the actions concerned, displays the first of the steps to be carried out.
