The concept of machine designates any object that you can or must maintain, rent, lend.

There are three categories of machines:

  • resource machines: these are the machines that are your production force, for example rotary presses if you are a printer.
  • rental machines: these are the machines that you rent, for example bicycles if you rent a bicycle.
  • maintenance machines: these are the machines that you maintain, for example your customers' boilers if you are a heating engineer.

Check the Manage box if you want to manage this or that category. You can also check the Vehicle box, if the machine concerned is a vehicle. This clarification will be useful for inserting additional information relating to the vehicles in the intervention form (mileage, registration and power, in particular).

Via the print machine information drop-down list, you can print, or not, the information concerning the machine on the intervention sheets, or the parts linked to the machine, in the “standard” form, or in the “vehicle” form.

It is possible, for each machine that you take into account for an intervention, to print a taking into account voucher, on which you can, or not, print the after-sales service information on the taking into account .

If the all resources box is checked, all rental types will be displayed on the schedule, even if there are no rentals for the period in question.

The Manage rental hours box allows you to take into account the rental start and end time, while the Manage security deposits box allows you to take into account the rental time. existence, or not, of a security deposit for rentals.

You can declare a conventional duration for the rental day. This will allow you to calculate the quantities to be invoiced. For example, if you bill by the day, your conventional duration is 8 hours, and you rented a bike from 08/24 09:00 to 08/25 12:00, the “rented quantity” will be 28 hours , i.e. 1 day + 4 hour, i.e. 1.5 days.

The Multi-line rental box allows you to rent several items at the same time: if you rent bikes, you will certainly rent a single bike to a single person, single-line management is suitable. On the other hand, if you rent sound equipment, for example, you will rent cables, speakers, amps, projectors, microphones, etc. Multi-line rental is indicated in this case.

The Manage kits box allows you to combine several “machines” intended for rental into a “kit”.
