Part headers

FIXME A1 proofreading not yet effective for this page. In the meantime, you can ask any questions on the forum.

Gestan offers several formats for orders, quotes, invoices (Only the “Gestan Original” header is available in the Standard version).

These headers are configured in two places:

  • in the general settings of the application: each time you create a quote, an order, or an invoice, it is the header that will be considered at creation
  • in the individual room settings: in each room (quotation, order, invoice), you will be able to define the header you wish to use.

Here is an invoice with the classic heading “Gestan Original”.

The 1 zone displays the customer's address: their personal address if it is an individual, professional address if it is a company. If a different billing address is specified, the billing address will be entered by default. In any case, you can modify it manually.

If you use this type of header, your company's contact details may need to be integrated into the “half-page” logo image of the half-page logo.

This header is suitable for international documents or transfer payments, it publishes your IBAN and BIC details configured via the configuration of your professional bank account.

If you use this type of header, your company's contact details may need to be integrated into the “half-page” logo image of the half-page logo.

In these headers, two addresses are printed: the billing address, on the right side, and the contact address, on the left side, for the 2AdrC header, or the delivery address for the 2AdrL header, or the third party's delivery address for the 2AdrT header.

:WARNING: In France, if the delivery address differs from the billing address, it is mandatory to include both (Article L441-9 of the Commercial Code).

The customer's address is printed on the left, while the address information entered at room level is on the right.

The 2AdrC header type is particularly useful when you invoice work carried out on behalf of third parties. For example, you invoice the trustee of a building for work carried out in one of the apartments in the building. You can, with 2AdrC, invoice the contact who occupies the apartment in question, by declaring for this contact the address of the trustee as the billing address. The property manager will know with this note which apartment is affected by the work you are billing him for.

In this header, the zone 1 indicates the customer's default delivery address (to use another delivery address, you must use the header “Gestan 2AdrA”), while the zone < badge>2</badge> indicates the billing address.

Using this header allows you to reference a “Third Party” contact, in addition to the contact to which the delivery is attached.

The left address indicates, for third party contact:

  • its delivery address, if provided
  • its normal address, if the delivery address is not provided.

The right address indicates the billing address of the contact linked to the invoice.

The 2AdrT header type is particularly useful when you invoice work carried out on behalf of third parties. For example, you invoice the trustee of a building for work carried out in one of the apartments in the building. You can, with 2Adrt, invoice the trustee, and display the address of the third party concerned (the contact who occupies the apartment). The property manager will know with this note which apartment is affected by the work you are billing him for.

In this header, the address on the left indicates one of the customer's addresses that you have chosen as the “site address”, with the indication of the type of address above, while the address on the right is the billing address.

It can be used, for example, to specify the address of the building concerned when invoicing a property manager, or the address of the construction site when invoicing work at several simultaneous locations.

If you want a presentation completely different from those offered natively by Gestan, you can have a completely personalized presentation developed.

These developments can be carried out by Gestan services, or by any Gestan partner with the “Development” qualification.

The cost of developing a specific state is between 0.5 and 2 man-days (the price of a man-day varies between 400 and 800 euros).
