Sessions
A1 proofreading not yet effective for this page. In the meantime, you can ask any questions on the forum.
At fixed intervals, the Gestan executable writes to the sessions file, to indicate that the current executable is “alive”.
At the same time, it checks the same file for the date/time of the last write of other executables in progress. If a discrepancy of more than 10 minutes is found, it destroys the session in the record. The executable concerned will then be asked to close.
Using the screen
Access : Tools → Administration → Users → Sessions
This screen displays the active sessions of users connected to Gestan.
The Deconn Sess button disconnects the selected session, while the Deconn All button initiates a general disconnection. General disconnection takes effect within 2 minutes. The screen allows you to track the progress of disconnections.
