Reset categories

This screen allows you to reset contact categories en masse.
As this program makes mass modifications to files, it is strongly recommended that you make a prior backup of the database.
Using the screen
Access: Tools → Administration → Mass data processing → Contacts → Categories update
The selector allows you to either:
- set the selected category to “false”, or
- set the selected category to “true”, or
- feed one category with another (when you want to “move” a category).
The Validate button triggers processing for the entire contact file.
